See Also Fine-fleshed Horse:The Vaakuna (meaning Coat of Arms), located close to the Central Station, was opened in 1952. It has an impressive aula (lobby) on the street Floor and about 200 rooms on the 7th and 8th floors of a modern business building, the excellent dining room being on the 9th. It also boasts an up-to-the-minute 6-room sauna, where a brawny Bath lady will steam and scrub you—you'll be quite naked, be you male or female—with complete objectivity and vigor. If you have a good body I suppose she'll be pleased, as she would be if you were a fine-fleshed horse. If it isn't so good, she'll scrub you anyway. These Sauna women have the modesty of impervious-ness.Varieties now used differ from one another in skin color, earliness, shape of tuber, adaptation, depth of eye, cooking quality, and yielding ability. American-grown varieties are white-fleshed, while in Europe yellow-fleshed varieties are mainly used for food and white-fleshed ones for feed and proc¬essing. The eating quality depends on texture and flavor of the tuber. If the dry matter content is high, it usually gives, when cooked, a mealy product, which is preferred; when low, it will be soggy. In most countries the potato crop is largely used for human consumption. A number of products are made from culls or surplus po¬tatoes, such as starch, flour, or farina, dehydrated potatoes, dextrine, glucose, dextrose, alcohol, and lactic acid, but products such as starch and alcohol can be made much cheaper from corn and other cereals.
